Art icon is an internet based portraiture and original art company. Lauren set up the website as a reaction against mass produced prints and commissioned portraits that the consumer has no control over design or price.

Lauren has studied art for over 13 years gaining a foundation diploma in art and design and a BA hons in Fine Art from Hull University.

Since starting a family whilst gaining her degree she has worked from home and a small studio producing commissions for the local people of Scarborough.

A fantastic response to this has lead Lauren to branch out to the internet , creating high quality oil paintings at the fraction of the price of high street galleries.

The consumer will be informed continuously through the process giving them complete control and satisfaction with the final outcome.
